Carrie Underwood Takes On Super-Sized Ice Bucket Challenge, Taylor Swift And Robert Downey Jr.

Carrie Underwood took the ice cube ALS Challenge to the extreme!

Instead of a cube, the singer and her husband and NFL player Mike Fisher had a man in a bulldozer construction vehicle used to dump the frozen water in them. Underwood posted the video on its YouTube page Saturday.



Dozens of people, famous and not famous, have been sharing videos showing them to be soaked in ice water to promote awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The campaign began about a month ago and in recent weeks has become more popular, ie, because messages shared by the stars.


Participants were also asked to encourage others to follow suit. Underwood challenged fellow country star Jennifer Nettles.

Also Saturday, Taylor Swift and Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., shared their own videos. Swift took on the challenge with friend, actress and model Jaime King. She shared on her Facebook page a video of the two surrounded by about two dozen people wearing black shirts in the trial of pop and country singer for 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
